Is it always windy in San Francisco? |
Travel Info I spent a few days in SF and everyday was quite windy (like 20mph). Is it normal to be this windy in SF? Travel Tips At certain times of the year, yes. Like today it's pretty blustery, but yesterday it was calm. Others ya, its like going to any beach, its always windy. Maybe not THAT windy all the time, but always windy depends on what part of SF you were in; remember it's by the bay and is generally windy; that seems extreme, but certain streets or sections seem like wind zone (such as geary street) It depends on location and time of year. Who was it that said:" the coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco". |
