The Ahwahnee Yosemite Lodge at the Falls Curry Village Wawona Hotel Housekeeping Camp Tuolumne Meadows Lodge White Wolf Lodge High Sierra Camps If you plan to stay in Yosemite Valley, make your reservations a year in advanced. Privately owned accommodations located in the park: The Redwoods (Wawona) http://www.redwoodsinyosemite.com/... Yosemite Vacation Rentals (Foresta) http://www.yosemitepark.net/ Accommodations located outside the park: Yosemite Motels (El Portal, Mariposa, Oakhurst) http://www.yosemite-motels.com/... Evergreen Lodge near Hetch Hetcy Valley (northwestern Yosemite) http://www.evergreenlodge.com/ The outside accommodations located closest to Yosemite Valley are in El Portal (Yosemite View Lodge and Cedar Lodge). Both are within 15-20 minutes drive of Yosemite Village. There are numerous accommodations in the towns of Mariposa and Oakhurst both of which are about a one hour drive from Yosemite Valley. The Evergreen Lodge is located just outside the park boundary near Hetch Hetchy in the northwestern corner of the park. It's located in a remote area and about an hour drive from Yosemite Valley. If you can't get accommodations in the valley, try El Portal. I've stayed at a number of places in Yosemite Valley, Oakhurst and El Portal. Based on cost, comfort and location, my personal favorite is Cedar Lodge in El Portal. I was last there two weeks ago - wish I was still there. Others yeah... i think there is some inside the valley...but i know for sure there are some in El Portal which is a few miles outside Yosemite Valley....if you want more selection the closest would me in Modesto or Merced but they are a couple hours away You can check accomodations inside Yosemite at following website : http://www.nps.gov/yose/ Have a nice day and greetings from Germany K. There are not a lot. Groveland has some charming ones, it is just outside the park. Also look in Craiglist.org, under California/Gold country. There are houses you can rent near the park. |
