You know where people are better San Diego or San Francisco? |
Travel Info This is an important move for me and i got to know san diego much better. I've always wanted to move to san fran. I am a loan officer and can get a job there easily and very good in making friends. What do you guys think? Travel Tips Depends on how you define "better." San Diego and San Fran have totally different cultures. SF is quite liberal, SD is fairly conservative (especially by California standards). San Francisco is more of a compact, bustling city (like NYC, Boston, or DC). San Diego is a massive urban sprawl. I live right outside of SD, so I am biased in thinking that SD is the better choice. Others i personally like SF better than SD. My best friend is from SD and I have visited a bunch of times, and I am just not very impressed with SD. But I am a nor cal native. And not much of the beachy type person. Also, SD is waaaayyyy to conservative for me politcal wise. the mortgage market is probably a lot strong in the bay area. My dad's a mortgage broker east of SF and business is doing quite well. i don't know that one town is better than the other. They are just very different places. SD is very laid back, beachy. SF is very urban, very political, and all about the environment. San Diego The weather is much hotter in SD. Summertime can be cold and foggy in SF. I live in SF so I am biased, but SD is awesome too. I like living in a walking city, you can't walk anywhere in SD really, but in SF you can walk in 20 minutes from Italian n'hood-Chinatown-amazing shopping dist-wharf-skyscrapers-scary hood-latino n'hood etc... san francisco!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
