Where can I find the best seafood in SF? |
Travel Info Where can I find the best seafood in SF? Travel Tips Swan Oyster Depot Address: 1517 Polk St, San Francisco, CA 94109 Phone: (415) 673-1101 Oh yum! They have the best clam chowder, fresh crab and seafood salad I have ever had. They are mainly open for lunch and is usually a line out the door because there are only at-the-counter seating, but it is worth the wait. Check it out. Others I don't know about the best necessarily, but Fisherman's Wharf has some really good seafood and you have a great view of the bay too. Scoma's at Pier 47. For a great oyster bar, Hog Island at the Ferry Building. Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39 for me. The smell is practically intoxicating. The bay air, the fresh seafood, you want to run into every single place and eat something. The clam chowders are heavenly. And in real sourdough breadbowls. Mmmm. Yep, I agree with Fisherman's Wharf. You can't get any fresher seafood. I got married in the bay area and whenever my family would be in the area, we'd always make a point to go to the wharf for the clam chowder in the sourdough bread bowls. I usually end up eating the whole bowl because the bread is so much better there. It has something to do with the water. Scoma's, don't let the fact that it is a tourist area scare you off, it has GREAT food and the prices are bearable! in the red light district, theres all kinds of seafood.. na meannn |
