Pls recommend a clean hotel in San Francisco? |
Travel Info I will stay in San Francisco around the end of June to end of Sep. About 3 months. However, I haven't found a fitting hotel. Pls suggest a clean, safe one to me. My budget is 1000 per month(include tax). Thank you lo.. Travel Tips As already said, $1000 is not much for a month in SF. In addition, if you have an apartment of your own, consider offering apartment swap on Craig's List,or just looking up for a short-term rental over there. Others Hampton inns are awesome * If you don't mind commuting, you might want to stay in Alameda on Bay Farm Island. There are hotels within the high tech business park, just down the block from the Oakland Raiders headquarters. It's a great place to live, there are walking paths, bike paths, man made lagoons that you can paddle a canoe or kayak in (no motorized craft allowed). Also a lot safer than staying SF and plenty of restaurants and shopping in 5 mile range. My friends and I stayed at the Heritage Marina Hotel. It's within walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf and all that fun stuff. Not sure if they do long term or not, but we felt very safe there. http://www.hotelstravel.com/north_americ... $1000 for a decent hotel in san francisco will last you maybe 4 days. i would consider a sublet or a short term lease on a studio. Try Craigslist. But rents in S.F. are comparable to the rents in New York. $1000 will get you someplace small in a not so good part of town, unless you are considering something on the outskirts of S.F.
