Beaches in The San Francisco Bay Area?

Travel Info
Hi does any one know of any beaches in the San Francisco Bay Area?
It doesn't have to be IN the city it could be farthr, but no souther than Fremont.

Travel Tips
Try Half-Moon Bay area. It tends to be a bit warmer with fun sandy beaches to play on....

Beaches in SF can be kind of dirty or cold. Ocean Beach is fun to watch waves, but not really for sand castles.

Well this site has some beaches in S.F. http://www.sealrockinn.com/beaches.html...
I think Baker Beach is nice. There is a nice view of the golden gate bridge and it's also a nude beach. Have fun!
I camped once in Half Moon Bay once, it is very very nice.
if you are looking for a beach for family, a friend recommend this website: www.montereyfamilytravel.com to me. It looks there are quite a bunch california beach information for family.
