There seemed to be a rash of deaths in 1893 - see the buffington family. Was there a plague or other disaster that year? Thanks for any info. Mike.

I lived in Morro Bay for a long time.The story I got in high school was a cholera epidemic. The farm house they lived in was supposedly haunted. We would go there some times and I must say it was not normal. I can't remember exactly where it was but I seem to think it was the first road on right just past the old oil terminal pier. House was 2 story on right. with metal gate, about 30 yards from road. I heard it took the whole family. |
