I have never been out of California!!?

I am 22 yrs old and live in Northern California but have never left the state or traveled, where are some fun, close and inexpensive places to go and visit!!

You should go to Seattle! You may have to search around for good airfare, but it's not ridiculously overpriced or anything and the flight is an easy hour and a half and the city is pretty different from California but still lots of fun (I live in the SF Bay Area and I go to Seattle every summer to visit family). Even if you don't really like rain (I much prefer sunny weather, typical California girl), it's still a great place to tour around and go sightseeing. Check out some of the beaches, a lot of them are gorgeous, and don't miss out on the Space Needle and Seattle Center.

well im 12 and i havent been out of CA yet but thats like 10 years difference.
but everybody in my classes have been out of state or even country. kinda sucks
wow never. I live in calgary alberta canada and ive been in 12 different states along with mexico and hawaii and im only 16. But go to the six flags theme park in georgia. If you want a hot relaxing vacation go to mexico you can drive there in like two days.

You could stay in Northern California your whole life and never see it all - from the rain-forest in Del Norte County to the Sacramento and San Joaquin valleys, the Central coast (from Monterey north to Mendocino) the volcano lands (Mt. Shasta, Mt Lassen, Lava Beds National Monument) to the Salinas Valley will take a life time to see!
I was 13 the first time I left the State (flew to Pennslyvania). Nothing impresses like the great state of California, especially NORTHERN California!
22 and never been out of CA, how about getting a few friends and going to hot Las Vegas for a weekend. Go clubbing, etc. Just enjoy.
