Help urgently? |
Travel Info hey all. i am planning a trip to LA / San Francisco can anyone help. i have to head to monterey on 21 of july so my fight i will go to san franscisco then to take a greyhound bus down to monterey. how long does the journey take. and how much does it cos. Travel Tips You can fly directly from SFO International to Monterey Airport on Skywest. That would be the fastest way to get there without a car. http://www.skywest.com/ Greyhound takes forever. From SFO International, you have to take a BART (subway) train to Montgomery Street or Embarcadero station. Then you have to haul your luggage from the subway station to the bus terminal, which is several blocks away on Mission Street. Then you have to find the correct bus. Moreover, Monterey might require a transfer in Santa Cruz or San Jose. In any case, the bus requires a lot of waiting and idle time. You're looking at a full day of wasting time with Greyhound. I'd definitely rent a car or fly. Others Call the Greyhound number and ask them. Here is the info for the San Fran office: SAN FRANCISCO GREYHND STA 425 MISSION TRANSBAY STA FLR 3 San Francisco, CA 94105 Telephone Numbers Main: 415-495-1569 Baggage: 415-495-1555 Greyhound Package Express: 415-495-1555 Customer Service: 415-495-1575 Greyhound Charter: 800-454-2487 Hours Of Operation Hours of operation subject to change.
