Travel Info secure,nice, and not too expensive. Travel Tips I really like Campbell. Not overly expensive, but pretty secure. Good neighborhoods. Don't be suckered in by Willow Glen. I have a friend who is police officer...while the main part is quite nice it's surrounded by not so nice areas. The Rose Garden is good, but often pricey. San Jose and Santa Clara are hit and miss. Others Such a neighborhood does not exist in San Jose. You won't find secure, nice, and inexpensive in the same place. Actually, you wont find inexpensive...period, out here in the Bay. Thats why so many native San Joseans are movin out to the central valley or out of state all-together. There is a nice place called Mountain View. Just outside of the city off of the highway...There is Santa Clara too. Yes I agree, neighborhoods in San Jose, neither secure nor nice but yes inexpensive (people live there b/c it's cheap, but they work elsewhere in the Bay Area). Here's other places: Palo Alto Mountain View Sunnyvale Cupertino Los Altos Los Altos Hills Los Gatos Fremont Pleasanton however, many of those places listed above are quite expensive, I know because i live in the south bay. I wouldn't reccommend living in San Jose because of the poor standards of living and the crime there but Downtown San Jose is very up-and-coming and there's the Tech Museum there -good for kids and teens. Sounds like The city jail... otherwise,,, in Disneyland or your dreams... |
