Looking for a weekend escape for my best friend and I to escape to in NorCal. Girls weekend out!!! Woot!!?

Travel Info
Any ideas? Looking for great relaxation, good food, good friends. Have been to Carmel and Sausalito recently. Looking for someplace new or unique. We both travel to Napa fairly regularly, so looking for somthing different. Any suggestions! Thanks!

Travel Tips
Lake Tahoe - beautiful, trails to hike, casinos, cruises on the lake. South Lake Tahoe has a great Indian restaurant called Taj Mahal.

Ft. Bragg (coastal city) - small town, but they have a really neat glass beach

Mt. Shasta - pretty, nice shops, Mike & Tony's Italian restaurant is great!

Sacramento - old-town has tons of unique shops and restaurants. Fat City Grill is really good.

Redding - close to lots of outdoorsy stuff like hiking, lakes, mt. biking, canoeing, etc. But it's really hot. One of my favorite restaurants is C.R. Gibbs.

I'm not much for the party scene, so if that's what you're looking for - sorry I'm not much help.

go up to mt shasta and rent a cabin, or go down to central cal and go to yosemite, ior go to one of the indian casinos Theres also going to Sac and going through old sac theres some fun (and some hella fine *** men)
Mt. Shasta is a very nice, relaxing place to go. Very natural. You could also go up to S. Lake Tahoe. It's a beautiful drive; great time for some good conversation. Anywhere along the coast is good.

Go further up to Mendocino, nice and quiet.
Enjoy good food at the coast, antiques and a laid back live.

Inverness is really wonderful. You can go down multiple steps to a lighthouse with wildflowers and lichen growing all around. Manka's is a very relaxing place to stay with awesome food. You get the coastal breezes along with a charming community, some quaint shops. Manka's can be expensive, but there are several inexpensive motels and some b&bs. Also, it isn't far from San Francisco, so you don't have to spend the entire weekend driving.

pinecrest lake just NE of yosemite, i just got back from there and its a really relaxing place if you like to camp
