Travel Info I want a job and place to live in Santa Cruz or central coast. Where's the best places to look? Travel Tips I lived in Santa Cruz for five years and just moved to San Diego about 2 years ago and I really miss Santa Cruz! Nearly every where in Santa Cruz is pretty nice although avoid working in San Jose and living in Santa Cruz because you'll sit in lots of traffic and have to drive the notorious highway 17 everyday. I'd actually suggest Monterey. It's bigger than Santa Cruz and only about an hour away and it's beautiful. I'd think that there are more job opportunities in Monterey too. Others JOBS: monster.com yahoo.com LIVE: rent.com (give you $100 if you get an apart. off their site!) apartments.com or craigslist.com (search southbay) It's sort of hard to tell if you already live in the Santa Cruz area and want help in finding a job, or you plan on moving to the area from some other far off place. Santa Cruz would certainly offer anyone a scenic place to be residentially based, and there's enough legal work in that county for paralegal to find potential employers. The coastal communities of Half Moon Bay, Monterey, Pacific Grove and Carmel are also attractive places to work and live. |
