Have a bonfire on the beach in Aptos (south of Santa Cruz). Make s'mores. Or....stay home and roast marshmellows in a backyard barbecue or outdoor fireplace.

Go star gazing if it's a clear night.

Go wine tasting in Santa Cruz or Livermore (See http://www.cheers2wine.com for guide to wineries).

Plan a party. Decide on a theme, guest list, activities, etc.

Drive to napa for the day. Walk around Los Gatos - nice shopping, cafe's and meet a friend for lunch. Go for a walk in the mountains. Cruise down to san fran and check out new places. Just think of how many more options of nice things to do you have than me! I live in minnesota, it is snowing and I cannot do any of the above! So go have fun! :) I love where you live - my best friend lives there and i go out there 4-5 times a year. Enjoy your beautiful surroundings.... :)
