Travel Info california Travel Tips Castle Rock State Park Also to the South near Hollister is a really neat park called Pinnacles National Monument which has trails that require a flashlight because you go through caves. If you go to pinnacles, get there early, because the park fills up. Source(s): ME Other Travel Tips Castle Rock is OK, but so are Henry Cowell, Fall Creek, Big Basin, etc. It's so gorgeous here it's hard to choose. Butano's nice, too. If you camp in Pinnacles, watch out for the boars, they're huge. For a first hike, go to Big Basin State Park. Our very first State Park, with awesome trails that go to waterfalls, the beach, and more. |
