Looking for Santa Cruz unique vacation - tent rooms on the beach? |
Travel Info I saw this in a magazine. I think it was called Unique Vacations Travel Tips The place is Costanoa. It's across Highway 1 from the beach and secluded. Nice spa, different choices of rooms from the tents to larger suites. I like the cottages with fireplaces. Very cozy, large bed. But no TVs. So be prepared. They have a small restaurant/grocery store. I usually stop there in January when walking out to the the Elephant seals at the Ano Nuevo. And try Duarte's in Pescadero for dinner. Wonderful. About 100 years ago they had "tent city" in Santa Cruz but that no longer exists. Sorry. |
