Anything going on around Monterey, CA or San Jose, CA this weekend (3-31-07)? |
Travel Info Suggestions please? I live near San Jose, and am from Salinas... so I know the regular old places to visit and the touristy things to do. Looking for anything special that's going on this weekend and also suggestions for sort of "off the beaten path" things to do. Thanks! Travel Tips Check out the Monterey County Weekly. They have a guide that tells you what's going each week. This week there is a Cesar Chavez tribute concert, a tall sail ship that was in Pirates Of the Carabean, a new exhibit at the aquarium, several plays, and a ton of bands playing throughout. It's going to be a beautiful weekend, so if you want off the beaten path, try hiking Point Lobos. It is beautiful out there, and you can see the whales passing by.
