Travel Info Like dion warick"s song , is that good? Travel Tips It is a culturally diverse, extremely high tech business area with lovely weather and great parks. Others It's a good city that's close to SF and the ocean in Santa Cruz. Good restaurants, sports (GO SHARKS), good weather (mild to hot), but it's expensive to live in. Close enough to the wine country of Napa, Sonoma, & Monterey. Great hiking, parks, and if you're a tekie, you'll get a job fast. Good luck. I love SJ. Major airport also near SFO or Oakland. We have major sports (GO SHARKS) like the guy before me said. We have Soccer. San Francisco is a Bart ride away or about an hour drive. We have downtown clubs. Most major concerts come here either to HP or Shoreline. Almost everywhere in CA is within a 1/2 to 5 hour drive. Santa Cruz, Monterey, Tahoe, Disneyland, Napa, Sacramento. We live in a city with a lot of colleges. San Jose State University, San Jose City college, Evergreen college, DeAnza college. Oh we also have music in the park downtown or movies on San Pedro during the week too. Have you heard that San Jose is one of the safest place to live? However, it is expensive here since it is within the Bay area. |
