Are San Jose State and CSU Sacramento party schools? How is the social life at these two schools? |
Travel Info Are San Jose State and CSU Sacramento party schools? How is the social life at these two schools? Travel Tips Both schools are total commuter schools. You'll find a lot of older adults returning to school after having been in the work force or raised a family. I went to Sac State for three years and there were a fair amount of fraternities, sororities, and clubs, so there's always parties going on, but not near the levels at, say, Chico State. Not that many people lived on campus. I'm starting grad school at San Jose State this Fall and, from what I've heard, it's pretty much the same scene. People just go to class and leave, basically. Good luck! Others san jose state is less of a party school than sacramento. if i had to chose i would go to sjsu becuase the sacramento one is just kinda yucky plus its really hot there! sjsu is REALLY diverse and you can find any kind of people, if you want quiet nice people or outgoing party people San Jose State really isn't considered a party school. Neither is Sacramento, but it's more of one than SJSU. The social life at San Jose is far surpasses sacramento. The people at State are so diverse, and friendly, and just, well, nice. Also, State is a commuter school, which is most likely the main cause of all the uniqueness. I hope this helps! =] I'm a San Jose State Student and I can tell you for sure.. SJSU is NOT even close to being considered a Party School. Yes we have clubs and Fraternities but there's no real hard partying going on. Instead of partying we have a nice picturesque campus. We're focused on education. We're celebrating 150 years of great education this year. Social life at San Jose state ? It's a commuter school, people go to school and go to work, no real hangouts happen unless of course you're talking LUNCH TIME. :) SJSU is a commuter school it means people just go to class and then go back home its not a party school. Im from San Jose so I should know. I would say Sac is bigger party school. But if you want a party school Chico is deffenitly where you want to be, thats where Im @. Experience |
