Does anyone know any good places to go in San Jose? |
Travel Info Like sightseeing the city view, sky/stars, or any fun places to go to with your bf/gf in the San Jose area? Travel Tips You could always go to San Francisco, or Santa Cruz, or pretty much anywhere but San Jose itself. (Not much else to do but go shopping at various malls) Check out the Santa Cruz mountains for views, stars, etc. Others Have you been to Sanata Row? It's basically a fancy street with designer stores and restaurants, but I think it's fun. It's very European. You can find it across Valley Fair mall. Also, go to Kelley Park Zoo on Senter Road. How about hitting bars on First and Second Streets downtown? The best thing about San Jose is that it's close to some really nice towns. San Jose itself is a frustrating place to live. The city has just gotten rid of a crooked major and his cronies but has a long road to recover. Every place you turn, you dig up corruption and bad choices. All you have to do is to look at our new city hall or our light rail system or the embarrassment we call an international airport which is named after a living political crony. San Jose is the second largest city in California and our only claim to fame is its fabulous weather. as above said i would try going to santa cruz (boardwalk/beach) or San Francisco....it's not that long of a drive. but in san jose itself you could go to the Winchester Mystery house.... Santa Cruz broad walk , Santa row, SFO, everything everyone above told u winchester mystery house and santana row...the i max threatre as well Santana Row and Winchester Mystery House are famous places. I'd also go to Tech Museum in downtown. Awesome place to visit in my opinion! And if you're interested in more museums, Intel museum in Santa Clara is also really fun place to spend quality time.
