Who knows fresno cali. that could recommend places to site see? |
Travel Info My family and I plan to visit soon and I'd like a jump startt on the "gotta see" sites or places. What's a popular fishing hole also? Travel Tips I have to be honest - Fresno itself does not jump out at me as a class 1 vacation spot (other than the fact that I have heard that there are a ton of golf courses there). But you in relatively close driving distance to two GREAT parks - Yosemite and Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Park. Yosemite is beautiful, but going to be crowded (less so outside of Yosemite Valley). South of Yosemite, in Oakhurst, is a GREAT restaurant - Erna's Elderberry House. This is also fishing country - you could probably find a guide here. For a less crowded environment - Sunset Magazine just this month had a great article on a Kings Canyon/Sequoia - they posted it on their website - here's the web address http://www.sunset.com/sunset/travel/arti... It sounds wonderful..... Have fun. Others Hes right yosemite is beautiful but crowded The kings river or pine flat resivor is nice. Also Shaver lake is beautiful. My own travels |
