What is the fastest and easiest way to get from Downtown San Jose, CA to San Fran. by public transportation?

Travel Tips
There are several different types of public transportation, but only Cal train will take you the full distance. when you grab a schedule, try, if possible, to take the express train - it doesn't stop every few miles. The train goes all the way down to AT&T Park in San Francisco. From there you can take a taxi to where ever else you'd like to go.

Cal trans period. Its rite by HP pavilion ware the sharks play, 1hour 30 min max
Caltrain express.
Well, there are really 3 choices for this route. As others have said, CalTrain is fastest though does not run as late or frequently as these other options. A second choice is to use VTA bus route 522 limited or 22 local to Palo Alto and transfer to a SamTrans express bus KX that travels into downtown SF. The 3rd choice is to use VTA express route 180 to the Fremont Bart station and catch a BART train into SF from there. Good Luck!
