Wheres a good place to see fireworks this year in San Jose, CA? |
Travel Info Hi, im located in san jose, ca and i looked up on the Great America website and it states that they are not doing a firework show this year. Does anyone have any suggestions of where would be a nice place to go with a great view of fireworks for the holiday? Calaveras Blvd 586-3210 Morgan Hill Independence Day Celebrations 891-1980 www.mhidi.com. Others The church on the hill does a great firework show and before the show, they have a little carnival. It is all free too. You get there from Curtner Ave. turn onto Canoas Garden and go up the hill. They often have people park in the Cathedral of Faith parking lot, which is the church on the corner under the Church on the Hill. Sometimes Spartan Stadium puts on a display also. Lifetime in SJ Outside the Hilton Hotel in Downtown. They have a fair going on also so if you have kids it would be fun. It's really spectacular. Or if you want to drive to Santa Cruz there is fireworks there to. Good Luck. NBC11's Festival for Independence is at Discovery Medows behnd the Discovery Museum. You can also watch it behind the Convention Center. Just remember... AVOID DRIVING THERE!!! They closed the freeway near Discovery Medows and you cant pass. Take the VTA Light Rails. From Alum Rock station to Santa Teresa Station, it will all be running. Stops are every 5 minutes so you wont miss a thing. |
