Travel Tips you cannot find any figurines with humanlike image here in KSA. but some christians were able to bring their images. they told me that it's already allowed but not in public. so if you know how to keep it safe when passing through customs officials, your very lucky. i know some who has their rosaries and small angel figurines Others all around the moslim world is like that! there should not be any picture for God, Angels, Prophets. It looks controversial right? But it's not! Because God was so afraid that this last prophet of him would bring another misunderstanding to the society like the : 1-We are the only and most precious nation(judaism) 2-Jesus is son of God(you know!) 3-..... name them! so he said that's it! no more idols no more drawings of any of these three! think about it... yes i think so but as far as the rest of the muslim countries are concerned they are allowed; in pakistan we hav many beautiful churches and com around christmas the bazzars(shops)are filled with every figures and decorations very pretty indeed Any book, image, pendant or any article that is associated with any religion other than Islam is not allowed to be entered into Saudi Arabia. In fact, Saudi Customs and immigration officials are known to insult the carrier of such objects by tearing the Holy Bible or spitting on a cross..... |
