Irags marriage between 1st and 2nd cousins? |
Travel Info I read in the sunday paper today that 65% or more marrages in Irag or religion, are between 1st and 2nd cousins. Someone tell me its not true............................. ??? Travel Tips ok heres the thing yes there are marriages between cousins and its not forbidden but after ofcource having the tests that allows you 2 marry your cousin 2 prevent the birth diseases that it can cause another thing i would like 2 clarify is that the prophet Mohammad (PBOH) said that its 4 the society best interest 2 take from other countries and other raises 2 change and communicate better.. but some or lets say most countries in general like 2 take from the same back ground Others In Islam, it is common for people to marry within their family, like cousins. (Usually on the father's side) My family is Muslim and not alot of people have married that close, but have married distant relatives. In America, you won't find many of these cases (especially with Western Muslims) but its popular in alot of countries and their rural areas. who cares, arabs in general are normal with marrying their 1 2 3 or whatever number cuzins, they like to keep it in the family who are u anyway !!! and post yr question in right spell in Irag or religion !!! ask yr teacher in school before yr read adult newspaper pass Yes it's true. There's nothing wrong with cousins marrying each other. In Islam Muslims see cousins as potential marriage partners. Hello Empaty ,, well, we have this kind of marrige between cousins , it may be not safe to have healthy children , but most people think it's save to have good marrege for ever ,, people there, grow up with thier cousins , and after they became adult they still have memories with thier cousins and they think they know about them what thy need to know , because there r not alot of girls or boys around them in thier life. about children , the most common problem is in blood (( i don't remember the name of the disease )) so , they think they can pass it , there r other diseases but there is no high percentage show that it becomes more common . well, i'm against this marrige because our relegion advise us to marrege from out of our families , even out of our relatives. i have alot to say , but i have really no time ,, I will inshaa allah give u more about it when i finish my exams .. sorry about misspilling :) |
