I do admit that it happens that domestic helpers are not getting treated right. But - why are pointing on Saudis only? You can find this all over and Islam does not have anything to do with it. Why are you in this country if you despise it and its culture so much?? Let's the fact talks. The fact is millions of workers from other asian countries and africa flooding Saudi Arabia. Most of them are unskill workers. They work as house maids, drivers, etc. They're paid around USD 200 - 400 per month. It's very minimum wage. But they keep coming up to the kingdom every day. If the Saudi treat them as a slave, there'll be no more worker coming up. Who will come to the country where they got minimum wage and been treated as a slave? A few Saudi family probably treats the maid as a slave. But this case also happens in many country like Malaysia, Singapore, Hongkong, etc. Even in their home country, some maids are treated badly too. |
