Travel Info We will be living in Dharhan Saudi Arabia how is the security do you feel safe? Travel Tips extremely safe.. One of the safest places in Saudi.. Its located right next to the American consulate and Saudi military air port, The planes do manuveres daily over this area. They constantly monitor it.. There are two huge security check gates before you even get inside the housing area of camp.. Dhahran is like a small US military city.. it has everything.. 2 shopping commissaries, huge hospital that rivals any US hospital. mail services, shipping, bowling alleys, restaurants, theater, barber shops, hair salons, swimming pools, exercise gyms, tennis courts, schools, parks, gyms, golf courses, full service library, hobby farm for horses, private beach, full service busses to take you around camp or into (outside of camp) town to shop at local malls. Women can drive inside camp. there are activities for children, women, men, teens, I love going garage saleing around the camp.. Its like living in any american suburb.. nice green lawns.. Security is everywhere and drive around to keep the traffic and people safe. There are hotlines, ambulance services.
