I lived in Saudi for seven years but not being a Muslim could not go to either city.
I am in SaudiArabia.. (half saudi, half american).. If you ever got the chance to visit those cities as well as Jeddah (one of the oldest cities).. You'll find such a variety of people.. You'll be amazed as all the colors and races and cultures coming together united in one religion.. Some muslims as white as any European blue eyed, blonde hair. vs the darkest person from Africa... Its amazing and humbling also... All languages, all cultures united in one belief..
Non-Muslims are not permitted to enter Mecca or Madina
I've lived here all my life. Its like home to me.
