Need to know lifestyle of living/working for alsalam a/c in khamis mushayt as a single guy? |
Travel Info will be working for alsalam aircraft, coming in jan 07 need all the help you people can send, accomodations,conditions photos, shopping things to d o, Travel Tips khamis mshayt is not that big city really; it鈥檚 located in the southern region of Saudi Arabia. For accommodation I don鈥檛 think u will have any troubles in finding a nice apartment with reasonable rate, hotels also available, but I would recommend getting an apartment. It鈥檚 not a very popular place, not too many businesses around, so it鈥檚 like a country side city. For shopping, there r some convenience stores and supermarkets. Absolutely no alchahole or pork. I would highly recommend getting a car once u gets there. And during the weekends which is (Thursday- Friday) u can travel to Abha, it鈥檚 a very nice city located on the Sorate mountains, so there r too many UPS and DOWNS, which is interesting. Very cold during the winter, and way bigger than khamis mushyte, it鈥檚 the only place in the Kingdome were tourists go. and it鈥檚 very close to khammis mushyt. If u like climbing mountains then that鈥檚 the best place to do it. Some of the places that u might visit is Al habala, it鈥檚 a beautiful place, mostly for camping, u can rent a tent for 50 SAR. The weather is absolutely gorgeous over there. This is just something u should expect when u get there. and by the way, this place is meant for single ppl. no girls around. It鈥檚 the government policy to separate between females and males. So get used to it. U can also visit Jazan it鈥檚 very close to khamis too, and when u get there, go to the shore, rent a boat and go to Farasan Island, absolutely a MUST SEE. What else I can tell u, This is pretty much everything I can think off for now. and my last advice to u is to MELT IN the society, learn Arabic, it will help u alot.
