Have the lives of women in Saudi Arabia improved at all...? |
Travel Info since the publication of Princess Sultana's books? I have read all three and am ashamed and disgusted by the depiction of the treatment of women in that backwards country. With the unlimited resources and education available to the Al Sauds, one would think that at least one of the overindulged wimps that pass for men over there would speak up and try to change things! I applaud the woman behind the "Princess Sultana" nom de plume. She shows great courage and compassion in her work. Unfortunately, her hands are tied for the most part and I fear that little change has been effected. Travel Tips That was published 6 years ago. A lot has improved, but a lot still has to be improved. Others it is improving but very slowly. Unfortunately not:( men beat their wives and there is NO respect:( |
