Sudan is hot because it is in The Equator zone. It's climate relates to it's location. What clarifies this is that it's southern areas are hotter that the northern ones because it's closer to the Equator.

Any country or region located near the Equator zone have the same climate. Just like Malaysia.

Sudan is not all a desert. It's has rain forests, rivers, lakes, vallies + deserts.
