Was saudi arabia ever part of africa? |
Travel Info Was saudi arabia ever part of africa? Travel Tips It wasn't part of Africa or Asia either , It was part of a continent called Eurafrasia or Africa-Eurasia Source(s): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/africa-eura... Other Travel Tips sure was no it wasn't. look at a map and u'll see that the red-sea separates saudi arabia from africa. It depends on what you mean by "a part of Africa". It also depends on what you mean by "Africa". Madagascar is farther away from the area called "Africa" than Saudi Arabia is and it is considered a part of "Africa". Look at how close Yemen is to Ethiopia and how far Ethiopia is from South Africa. Could you please define what you mean by "a part of" and could you also define what you mean by "Africa"? Around 200 years ago, the word "Africa" didn't exist and from what I understand the word comes from the name formerly used for the area of Tunis and Algeria only. I suggest you read my book The Unknown Arabs. You can find it on Amazon.com give the above guy full marks it was in the past all the continents one part but due to tectonic Des plackets the Africa and Aisha been spirited |
