Where is a neighborhood to live by/in Seattle, WA? |
Travel Info We're moving from out of state and from what we hear about Seattle, it sounds great! We're just a little concerned about the break-ins, homeless, and crime that's in any large city. We've looked in all types of apartment searches, but only to find out that some apartments have a problem with security, violence, and vandalism. We know that every city will have it's problems, but it would be very helpful to know which parts of the city and surounding areas that don't have as many of these issues, and not much of a commute to First Hill. Thanks! ;) Travel Tips First Hill, isn't that bad. my friend lives there and she's a bit of wuss. (no offense to her). Crime rate doesn't say much you just have to find a nice section of First Hill. Queen Anne is really nice, too. Belltown is where I live, but that can be expensive. Ballard is probably the furthest distance from First Hill but it's cheap and it's a cute little community setting up there. Oh, Captitol Hill is adorable, little to no tourists, very liberal, kind of hippy, but all very nice people. Best of luck!! Others Madison Park is a very nice area and just down from Capitol Hill Federal Way is a pretty nice neighborhood. |
