Where are the best places to take kids to play in the snow near Seattle, WA? |
Travel Info Somewhere with a gentle hill for sledding, easy parking, not too far from the city? Travel Tips Snow, in Seattle??? Are you serious? Try Spokane or somewhere on the Eastern side of the mountains. But if there's gonna be enough snow to do anything, the Snoqualmie Pass will probably be closed and you won't be able to get to the other side of the mountains. Other Travel Tips Ha ha. Very funny. Hit I-90 East until you hit snow. Prob 80 minutes. Depending on how fast you drive. Whistler, British Columbia. Charleston hill in west seattle by the west seattle junction. it's cross sttreet is 47th have fun. Make sure you bring bandages and helmets There's a great tubing place up at snoqualmie pass, which is maybe an hour driving from Seattle. It's great for kids of all ages too as ther's pretty good skiing and a world-class terrain park. |
