Since the Jet typically travels so far to the north in the summer, it usually sets the Seattle area for rainy consitions, also with thhe sdded moisture in the air, The clouds also keeps you guys pretty chilly. In the winter, it still may track over Seattly, but sometimes, it may track a tad further south, which is why So. Cal has their rainy seasno during the winter and why it's so cold in the Noth and eastern portion of the country. Others da higher pressure systm goes into the lower systm rain clouds travel with the higher so that has to be it It's about the time and don't forget to thank Him for the blessing. Raining is one of the blessings as other parts of this world are dying for rainfalls. cuz it's near the ocean what they said.. but it's not just seattle....its the whole western wa and part of Oregon it doesn't rain that much in seattle. Clouds, formed from water being evaporated over the Pacific Ocean and Puget Sound, have trouble passing over the mountains. |
