Since the Jet typically travels so far to the north in the summer, it usually sets the Seattle area for rainy consitions, also with thhe sdded moisture in the air, The clouds also keeps you guys pretty chilly. In the winter, it still may track over Seattly, but sometimes, it may track a tad further south, which is why So. Cal has their rainy seasno during the winter and why it's so cold in the Noth and eastern portion of the country.
