Has anyone lived in both Denver and Seattle?

Travel Info
I'm looking to move to Seattle in the spring and would like to live in a neighborhood similiar to Denver's Capital Hill neghborhood. I'm looking for the same feel and access to the city. What area in Seatlle is most like Denver's Capital Hill?

Travel Tips
I grew up in Denver and have lived in Tacoma (about an hour south of Seattle) for 21 years.

If you're looking for old apartment/condo buildings, Magnolia or Queen Anne would be my first suggestions. If you're looking for easy access to the downtown business district (walking distance), Belltown would be the best place to look.

All of Seattle is quite pricey, though. It's been quite awhile since I lived in Denver, so I have no idea what an apartment downtown would go for now, but my general impression is that Seattle is slightly more expensive.

Good luck with the move. I've loved being here. The only thing I miss is the snow, although lately I've been very glad to be here instead of in Denver!
