Should i go to seatle or L.A?

Between June - Sep : Hands down Seattle.

No other city in continental USA can match Seattle and the experience it provides during summer. This is the only big city in USA, which has mountains, lakes and sea at the same place.

Things you can do in summer :
1. Outdoors - Hike mountain, paraglide, take trip to Olympic national park, enjoy lakes and off course Mt. Rainier
2. Activities - There are lots of activities during summer, for example boat race, fly fishing, Alki beach etc
3. Sightseeing - List is long
4. Fun - Seattle has a OK bar and club scene ( if you are college going, pioneer sq is better else belltown )

However, LA is better in non-summer season IMHO

1. Shopping - If you into shopping, Seattle is no where close to LA. LA has expensive as well as dirt cheap shopping options. Seattle simply is over-priced.
2. Dinning - no question about it
3. Beach - Seattle does not have any Natural beach. Alki beach is awesome but artificial and not suited in winter.
4. Fun - Need to say anything ?
5. Sightseeing - LA's sightseeing can be done in winter time too.

Others
It pretty much depends on what you'll do or what you wanna do.
LA would ba a fake and very surreal place to visit I think, in my personal prefernce I would go with Seattle because of it's music scene and it's penchant for realness.

It isn't even close. Go to Seattle.
Seattle's a nice place to visit but if you are moving I'd pick LA. I moved to Seattle 6 months back and it's just way too small of a town for me (from Chicago). Public transportation sucks both places but there's way more to do and see in LA.
