Has anyone been to Port Angeles? |
Travel Info whats fun to do there for a young family, is it a good place to raise a family? Travel Tips Yeah! My aunt has a condo there, and my family used to go visit. And, to be honest - except for the fact that I had my brother with me, when I was young it was pretty dull. But that could have a LOT to with the fact that she lives in a golf community - not exactly edge-of-your-seat stuff when you're seven years old! On the plus side - there's ferry boats (SO fun when you're little), Seattle's close if you get stir-crazy, and you'd be right next to the rain forest. I don't know if you're familiar with it - if you're not, check it out, it's out of this world! It'd be great for weekend trips camping and fishing and all that. The people are great, though. Nothing like the East Coast - very laid back, very nurturing, non-competitive environment in schools. I think it'd be a good place to raise a family - but of course that's a very personal decision. Good luck! Source(s): I'm a small-city girl, but from the other side of the Sound. Other Travel Tips Yes, and a very expensive place to live.. Yes, It's a dumpy little town in the middle of nowhere. I would never go there again nor would I ever EVER raise my kids there if I ever had any. It simply seems so far away from any kind of culture. |
