Good (cheap) places to stay in Seattle, WA.?

Travel Info
There are 6-8 of us looking to spend a weekend in Seattle, but need to find somewhere to stay - is there a good place to check out for maybe some house/cabin rentals. We don't mind hotel/motel if there is a kitchenette or something, so we don't need to eat out every meal.

Travel Tips
There may be vacation rentals like that listed on Craigslist:

Also, if you don't mind hotels, there's the Inn at Queen Anne. It's in the Lower Queen Anne neighborhood and they offer rooms with kitchenettes. It's within walking distance to Seattle Center and Space Needle and you can catch a quick bus or the monorail to downtown.

I stayed at the Capital Hill Guest house. Great people, great place or you can always try the green tortise hostel, I heard that was interesting from other people.
