Travel Tips
There really are a lot of things to do in Seattle even if (and the chances are good, it is raining.) This may sound a bit cheesy but a GREAT way to start out your visit is by riding the ducks...
http://www.ridetheducksofseattle.com/mai... you will get the whole tour of the main spots that can't be missed, after seeing everything you can decide what places stuck out to you, I would definitely recommend going to Pike's Place to walk around so you can catch a flying fish yourself and go into the first Starbucks ever...yes they are still serving coffee!

Right Across from the Ride the Ducks lot is the Experience Music Project, a very weird looking building you won鈥檛 miss it http://www.emplive.org/ you can check that out and it is walking distance if you want to go up in the Space Needle as well.

If you end up in Pioneer Square: The heart of downtown鈥?br /> If you are a history fan you have to do the underground tour http://www.undergroundtour.com/... I was dragged to this a few years ago and I loved it...AND it spits you out in the heart of Pioneer Square where there are tons of bars and good restaurants in walking distance.

It is hard to say what type of food you can't miss in Seattle because we are lucky enough to have a melting pot of international food. If you are from a more inland area you have to have the Seafood! Anthony鈥檚 on the water is good, a bit pricey though鈥he boardwalk will yield options if you want to walk that.

There are tons of things to do so I hope I didn鈥檛 bog you down! If you start with the duck tour you may be able to see what direction you want to take! Enjoy this makes me miss home! Source(s): My girlfriend

Other Travel Tips
Go to the Needle, take a boat ride in the bay. Don't bring up Nascar.
Walk up the waterfront and Myrtal Edwards Park. Then walk up to Pike Street Market and 1st Ave from the waterfront area. Pioneer Square just down from Safeco Field on 1st Ave has, or used to have, an underground tour. They boardered over part of the streets and had an extensive underground market area. Wander past the houseboats on Lake Union. The Space Needle is fun to look at but not worth the trip up to the top. Wander through China town. You gotta eat at Tai Tungs. It is a tradition in Seattle. Should you have ever heard of him, Bruce Lee trained in a dojo just across the street from there. Have fun.
I went last summer and I liked the Space Needle and the Aquarium
Definitely do the Needle, Pike's Market, the Aquarium and the little shops in that area.
Then go to Fremont and see the troll under the bridge.
Take a ferry ride.
Drive into the country south of there and see the rain forest.
Mt Rainer is not too far away, good day trip if the roads are open.
LEAVE ITS JUST ABUNCH OF HOMELESS DRUG ADDICTS
