I dont mind rain or snow, but are the summers hot at all, or is rainy too>? Travel Tips Western Washington has many different types of climate, such as flatlands and mountains. Naturally, the higher the elevation, the colder. For the most part, the winters are cold and wet, and the summers are hot with droughts, rains, and sudden thundershowers.
