Will I get allergies in Seattle if I have allergies in Portland Oregon? |
Travel Info I moved to Portland Oregon from Wisconsin and I've had an allergic reaction to pollen and trees for the past 3 years. Will I get the same allergic reaction if I live in Seattle near the Puget Sound? Travel Tips It's possible because the climate and vegetation is very similar. Others Uh, HELLO! Pacific Northwest. You are only separated by a few miles and believe me a Fir Tree is a Fir Tree is a Fir Tree. There isn't much difference; having grown up in Oregon and suffered allergies all of my life, to almost everything growing on earth. If you have allergies you are living in the wrong part of the world. But if you have to stay there, get treatment. I did and have never regretted it. Go to an old fashioned allergist; have scratch tests (they are tedious and hurt, but they are the only way to find out your allergies) ... and then take the serum treatments. You will find you almost never have allergy problems. If you aren't willing to do that, take Zyrtec. good luck Hello!!!! Seattle is 150 miles from Portland, and their climates are practically the same. If you have allergies in Portland, you're going to have them up here too! YES =but see a doctor. I'm sure there's something you take for that so it does'nt bother you. comon logic Most likely you still will. If it bothers you go to a docter and get a perscription. I'm afraid our plants and trees are mostly the same as in Portland. Our pollution rate is higher too. Sorry I couldn't give you nicer news. I suffer from allergies too. |
