Going to Seattle on tour -- How's the weather? What must I pack? |
Travel Info I'll be there in a couple weeks...mid April to be exact. What weather can I expect? What things are a MUST to pack? Travel Tips So April tends to be a little schizo as far as the weather goes here!! Rain, sunshine, etc all in ONE DAY! so the key is LAYERS! I would say good jeans or pants, shirt and a sweater or sweatshirt...good shoes are a must, if it starts pouring...trust me you don't want to be in your 4 inch Christian Louboutin heels (tee hee)! Source(s): Lived here all my life :) Other Travel Tips The weather is going to be around the 60's range, although weather in Seattle a lot. I would say expect around the high 40's to mid-upper 60's range. Also April is usually quite rainy in April. Sometimes the sun will peak out though! I would check weather.com before you leave for your trip. Thing's you must pack are comfortable shoes(that can take rain contact), Sun Glasses, a hat, umbrella, jeans, t-shirts, fleece(or some kind of jacket), and a sweatshirt. Hope this helps you! In the spring, you can expect ANYTHING! Some days are rainy and some are sunny. Sometimes we get some snow. Often, there are the confused days where the sun, rain, wind, and hail take turns several times during the day. Pack clothes for both rain and sun, but probably not a bathing suit, unless you go to an indoor pool. April is still a bit chilly for swimming. Be ready for anything! Rainy and down in the 40's one day...gorgeous and in the 60's the next! Layering's a good idea because the weather can change throughout the day...mornings can start out cooler and as the sun comes out in the afternoon, the temperature rises. Bring shoes that can hold up in puddles and such! Have fun! |
