What is the best place to buy seafood in Seattle? |
Travel Info I know everyone says Pike Place Market, but is there somewhere else that's not overpriced for the tourists? Travel Tips Pikes Place Market although pricey is really your best quality of fish. I would stay away from the "flying fish booth" if you wan to save some money because many tourists just go there to see "the flying fish!" Also there is great seafood at a local grocery store called Whole Foods. It is great there and everything is all natural. It is near the space needle. The good thing about getting fish from the market is that you know it is fresh, and they can ship it to you if you are a tourist. You could also go out to eat at a restaurant called Palisade. It is pricey though very worth the money you pay. Hope this helps! Source(s): Past Experience Other Travel Tips ebay Wal mart. I'm lovin' it. (Sorry macdo's!) Rachael Ray has a tv show about finding restaurant's for 3 meals a day on $40.00, and on one of her show's she went to Seattle, and said, everywhere you go, there's "Fabulous Fresh Seafood Restaurant's there!!" So I guess no matter where you go in Seattle your going to get some fresh Fabulous Fish!!! So its a "Win/Win" situation according to Rachael Ray's show I watched!!! Have Fun, and Happy Eating to all of you & your's!!! Smile!!! There is a fish market south of the Ballard docks on Salmon Bay and just off of 15th Avenue W at Fisherman's Terminal which is southwest of the Ballard Bridge. There are several stores at that site including the fish market. Here's some ideas. Mutual Fish Company is a goddo one. |
