Moving to the San Juans... vehicle question? |
Travel Info I'm moving from Los Angeles to Orcas. Do cars in that climate require rust-proofing because of the rougher weather? Not sure if I should replace my car with one from that area for this reason. Travel Tips No special rust-proofing needed; I don't think they salt the streets here. And don't pay attention the the responder who said you can't have a car on Orcas...of course you can! You just drive it onto the ferry. Others I have lived in Washington state all my life and have never rust proofed a car. I don't think you can have a car on Orcas. Rust-proofing is not needed in Washington state. They don't use salt on the roads. |
