Need a good hotel in Seattle, WA? |
Travel Info We are doing the 'city pass' stops...Pacific Science Center, Zoo, Aquarium, Flight Museum and Harbor Tour (by boat). Looking for a clean, safe (decent part of town) hotel that's conveniently located. THANKS! P.S. We will have a vehicle. Travel Tips Just returned from Seattle. I stayed at the Hilton Seattle and it was okay. Nothing spectacular. I was there for a conference and a lot of people I met who were staying at Red Lion really seemed to like it. Their comments were the rooms were decent and the staff outstanding. The Sheraton Seattle didn't get great reviews. One comment was they 'nickel and dime' all their services. One lady mentioned having a bowl of cereal w/milk for breakfast and it cost her $13! Hope this helps. P.S. Aquarium wasn't that great. Exhibits are sorely lacking in creativity and cleanliness. May want to use your City Pass on something else. Others Good... almost always = Hilton. Not always... but almost always. Now if you want an exceptional Hotel... Check Expedia. I love the w hotel in Seattle http:www.whotels.com If you stay in downtown Seattle close to the shopping or business areas it is going to be safe and clean. Here are some good hotels: - Grand Hyatt Hotel -Watertown Hotel -Westin Seattle -The Inn At Harbor Steps -Executive Hotel Pacific -Warwick Seattle Hotel -The University Inn Don't forget to visit Pike Place Market, I love it there =) Hope this helps! Have fun on your trip! Best Western City Center is across the street from the Science Center I know its kinda spendy, but it is the waterfront. The Edgewater |
