What's the cheapest way to get from Bellingham, WA to Seattle? |
Travel Info If you fly into Bellingham, WA...what is the cheapest way to get into Seattle? Amtrack doesn't seem all that cheap, and neither does a car rental to go that distance. Any other options available? Travel Tips You only got a couple options left then. Either by bus or thumbing it. Others probably the bus... why not fly into Seattle? I have good news for you! Yes, the trip can be done cheaply by using the public transit system which does connect all the way from Bellingham into Seattle and even beyond. Here's how to do it. Take the WTA route 80x bus from Bellingham transit center to Mt. Vernon and transfer to the SKAT route 90x bus to Everett station. From there transfer to the Sound transit route 510 that will take you into Seattle. The total cost is less the $5 each way. The only thing is the connections can only be made weekdays. Good Luck! www.wta.com www.skat.com www.soundtransit.org. a bus its only a few dollars try this site. http://www.airporter.com/ Western Washington University (in Bellingham) has a pretty good ride-share program. If you fly in and want to get down on the week-end, you could most likely ride-share with one (or more) people to the seattle area as several of the students drive home for the weekends. It would only cost you a fraction of the gas it took to get there. |
