For those who live in Seattle...?

Travel Info
could you tell me what's it like living there? I'm writing a book and I need a lot of details. Like, how is the weather, how are the people, what's the transportation like? That sort of thing.

Travel Tips
Um well let's see:
Weather: rainy cloudy but generally pretty moderate temps. Gorgeous summers and spring- really sunny and not too hot.
People: I'll talk about the businesses here maybe that will give you an idea: Microsoft, Starbucks, REI. So I guess people are a bit techy, like their java and the outdoors.
Starbucks: From every bus stop in downtown you can see 2-3 Starbucks. It totally rocks!
Transportation: Not a lot of cabs. No subway. Just your basic metro bus system back out to the suburbs. A lot of bridges connecting Seattle to the "Eastside"
In general, I'd say people are pretty nice and relaxed around here. They're kind of artsy too. You should come visit and see for yourself (especially if you're writing a book)!!

The weather in Seattle is decent. Not to hot not to cold. It's perfect let's just say that.

The transportation is great! You can get anywhere to/from Seattle like the monorail, bus, and train. Don't forget boats =].

The people up here are very down to earth. They don't snap at you or anything like that. Very nice-a

It's one of the most expensive cities in America but it's worth it. We live in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. That's why people talk about it all the time!

Good luck with the book =]
Seattle is fab! The bus system operates kinda of like a spiders web so eveywhere you want to go you have to pass through downtown seattle. There are plenty of buses, which is always good! The space needle dominates the skyline, the EMP can also be seen from miles around, but is slightly less pretty (in my opinion!) People are definately friendly, and I think a lot more open and tolerant than elsewhere. The gay pride festival is a particular highlight for me.

If i had to sum up Seattle in 2 smells they would be Coffee and Fish (Pike place market)
you are going to write about a city you've never been to.
nice. good luck with that book.

tip: spend $350 to get your *** to seattle. check it out.
