should be okay... there seems to be a lot of hawaiians living in seattle that i'm kinda surprised. they even have about 3 locations for L&L. my husband is from hawaii... and our resident manager is from hawaii too.

rains a lot... but it's gorgeous during the summer. you just have to get used to the rain, i guess. i did and i'm from a tropical country.

Well to be honest with you I live on Long Island, NY but if I had the choice to move from Honolulu to Seattle, I would stay in Honolulu-It rains 9 months out of the year there, but the choice is yours.
Wow! I think you would enjoy it.
The San Juan Islands are very close and have incredible weather there. They sit in a Green Belt and it is so beautiful.
The culture in Seattle will be very different.
Yes, colder, but insanely incredible.
You should visit first.
Honolulu to Seattle is a good move. However, the climate is better in Southern California.
The weather is not that bad i think it is overembelished it is more rainy in a lot of other states. i think if you were to move here you would enjoy it
We live in Kailua, HI but are from Seattle. The weather in Seattle can be a bit of a shock if you've only lived in Hawai'i.

It rains like crazy in the wintertime, but as far as it raining all year round, it's more like a mist. And I'm sure fellow Seattlelites would tell you that the past couple of years, the summers have been crazy hot, a lot hotter than normal. Or maybe I'm just imagining things. Seattle is in a beautiful area and you won't miss the beauty of Hawai'i too much cause you're surrounded by nature in Seattle. Try a vacation there first.
The only difference between the weather here and there is our rain is colder and it occasionally snows here in the winter. I wouldn't recommend wearing shorts and a T for most of the year... but that weather is just around the corner now!

Since the cost of living isn't much different, I would recommend staying there for the warmer winter temperatures :P
