Seattle Airport to Safeco Field???

Travel Info
I plan on flying to Seattle Washington later this year to go to a couple of ballgames at Safeco Field. About how many minutes does it take to go to Safeco Field from the airport? Any good public transportation? Any nice cheap hotels near by? Thanks for the help:)(:

Travel Tips
It's easy to get to Safeco Field from the airport by public transit! Just use Metro route 194 express directly from the airport bagage claim area to downtown Seattle. The drop off for safeco field is at Busway & Royal Brougham, only a half block away from the stadium entrance. The fare is $1.25 each way except during weekday rush hours when the fare is $2.00. As for nearby hotels, I'd try the Red Roof Inn at SeaTac or Travelodge Seatac. Good Luck!

Safeco is about 15 miles from the airport (and right outside of downtown Seattle). With no traffic, it should take like 25 minutes. I think there's buses that go from Downtown to SafeCo for a few bucks during Mariners games (I always walked from Downtown). I always use hotwire for my hotels, but here's a list of some below (they're all downtown).

Take the 194 or the 174 metro transit bus from the airport to Downtown. They will drop you really close to Safeco field.

Warning: Do not do this trip with luggage.

If you are staying at a downtown hotel though, they might send a car, or at least a shuttle for you. If you have to get your own transport, I recommend Shuttle Express. Every driver speaks perfect English and can read a map. Cabs cost twice as much as Shuttle Express and are horrid. The only have non English speaking drivers who can't find anything. Although even a Seattle cab driver can probably find something as big as Safeco field.

Check out the Ace Hotel,

Hostel like Hotel with no room service - some rooms do not have a bathroom.
Located in Belltown - right next to Downtown.
Shuttle express is good if you need transportation to the hotel from the airport or from the airport to the hotel, try Holiday inn Express near the airport
