Travel Info
trying to buy a house there, have kids, want to know if it's a decent place.

Travel Tips
Lake Stevens is a nice area, but it is developing fast, I drive for the county transit, and I do pick up alot of kids, I have had no problems..I live in the town next to Lake Stevens, called Marysville and If I had the choice between the two I would pick Lake Stevens. The only problem you would have is traffic!!! Because people want out of the city and Housing is Booming in the area. The Lake is Beauitful and clean, you'll enjoy the country lots of tree's.

Yes, it's pretty good. My sister bought a condo in that area and the police are on top of things. Low crime since you're out of the everett area, and it's pretty green and undeveloped. Easy to get around, shopping, grocery, etc. All is well in Lake Stevens. I get up there fairly often. Hope it helps.
Personal experience 101
ya the area is great my old man lived on the lake and it is great. Only real down side is if you have to take the treseal across the flats and in traffic that can take some time every now and again.
